She is also a nationally-recognized speaker and educator in Ophthalmic Pathology and has been an annual invited speaker and instructor for various board reviews and national courses. Keefe has held faculty positions and academic appointments at multiple training hospitals including: Loma Linda University Medical Center Naval Hospital, San Diego University of Texas, San Antonio Health Sciences Center Naval Hospital, Bethesda Brooke Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall Air Force Hospital. She completed an Internal Medicine internship at Naval Hospital, Bethesda, completed her Ophthalmology residency at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, and completed her Ophthalmic Pathology fellowship at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C.ĭr. ![]() Keefe received her Doctor of Medicine from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1985. Her areas of expertise in eye care include cataract surgery, oculoplastics surgery, ocular tumors, and comprehensive ophthalmology (treating glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, etc.). A retired United States Navy Captain after 26 years of active duty service, Dr. She is dedicated to keeping her patients' eyes heathy and their vision as sharp as possible. Keefe has been providing the finest ophthalmological care to the San Diego community for 21 years.
